A quick storm
Saturday morning May 18th began with an early morning wake up call by Mother Nature herself . The sound of lightning - THUNDER! It began around 6 a.m. with faint rumbling in the distance. The intensity increased as the storm moved closer and was soon roiling over the valley of El Cajon making itself known to all. With light rain at the beginning, but around 6:40 the sky started crack and thunder, opened the way for some heavy rain to fall. Although short lived in duration, nearly 10 minutes, it was a very welcome spate of relief from the dry conditions we’ve been experiencing.
